NZEAKOR C. ATULOMAH
Nzeakor (“Nze”) Atulomah is the Managing Partner of Synergy Law Partners (www.synergylawpartners.com) and a leading expert in Corporate/Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Corporate Governance. He holds an LL.B. from Abia State University, an LL.M. from the University of Lagos, and was called to the Bar in 2001.
A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Mr. Atulomah is also a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law, Imo State University, interrogating the complex interplay between international investment law, state sovereignty, and the right to development, with a focus on the tensions between protecting foreign investment and promoting public interest regulations in the exercise of sovereign police powers.
Mr. Atulomah acts for diverse clients in the technology, FinTech, and construction sectors, specializing in advisory, litigation, arbitration, and commercial documentation. He was the pioneer Honorary Secretary of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (2004-2008) and played an active role in developing Nigeria's first corporate governance code. Mr. Atulomah is a respected faculty member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and has authored teaching cases for the Lagos Business School. He currently sits on the boards of several companies, including a publicly quoted company, and is a Trustee of the Mensa Intelligence Quotient Society Nigeria.
